WE MISSED YOU TWO TOO
So, something big is around the corner. This post is just meant to shake you and wake you, telling the world that T.I.T.S. is coming back out of the shade. Here’s the first pair this tit-season, we missed you two too.
These were actually appealing for some small pointy cateye shaped frames, they’re just full of that strut. But we already did that post a year ago, check it here. Instead we chose to focus on the colour captured in these pictures, shot by the talented Polina Vinogradova. They perfectly match the colour profile of the Versace 402, also called ‘Perspectives’, from one of Versace’s first Versus lines (presumably 1990).
BEHIND THE TITS, BEHIND THE SHADES
Screw me, I think we just forgot we had this site. Being too busy wearing sunglasses and looking at… What one looks at. But one should not disregard the 2000-and-some followers who expect a fresh and daily view on vintage sunglasses fashion and tits to match. I guess we didn’t pay attention to the demand.
So, as some kind of compensation, todays post is gonna be a “behind the scene” kinda thing. And we’re taking it back to the dawning of T.I.T.S. (that’s about 3 months ago). It was a period of festivals, heat and some alcohol. Tits were a dime a dozen, and our in-house photographer was all over. In every way. Polina Vinogradova supplied us with quality content throughout the summer, and our favourite photo compilation is this one, entitled The Young Ones.
Today, we bring you 2 exclusive behind the scenes photos and Polina’s result of that session. To match the “behind the camera” feel, we took some nice photos of hidden details on vintage shades.
First pair of shades are Christian Dior 2396. They appear to have no upper rim, but when you pop out the lenses, a transparent plastic string appears. Wow.

And on these unnamed metal ones, dated back to the sixties, the lenses are fastened to the frame with a screw-mechanism. Very advanced.

In general, these are some of my favourite frames because of the obvious craftsmanship and namely, the details.
POSH TITS
These are my new Mulberry sunglasses. They were super cheap. I know the tits below are the exact opposite to the shades size-wise, but I associate vintage Mulberry with a healthy, busty, pale and perhaps even noble British girl. Living in her countryside estate; spending time horseback riding and feeding the dogs. Made in England, just like the shades, and there’s one from the front and one from the side of each subject.
TITS IN THE COCKPIT
T.I.T.S is on the road today. Ray Ban Driving Series Chromax is a special kind of driving shades. The Chromax Color Contrast Technology enhances the relative intensity and contrast of colors like red and green. As a result, brake lights, traffic signals and signs appear brighter and easier to see. Chromax lenses also filter out blue light haze to improve overall contrast and sharpen details. Every gentleman that wears Chromax usually has pair of tits hanging in the front seat while driving.
These tits are hanging out in the cockpit. And hanging out of the cockpit. Just hanging.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS. AND TITS
Last night I went to a Prince concert. He had one of my high school funk heroes playing bass, Larry Graham. I used to love some slappin’ da bass in the nineties, but I haven’t been listening to Graham Central Station or any of that stuff since. I remember they did an album called Mirror – which actually had a mirror on the cover. This inspired me for today’s post. Sunglasses with mirror lenses and tits in mirrors.
I’ve chosen two pairs of Carreras; Sunjet (which we posted in another colour earlier) and 5541′s. Numerous tits in each picture. Mirrors are super.
AU NATUREL
Some sunglasses have a more natural look, caused by the material in which they’re produced. Like these Ray Ban Wayfarers in wood from the mid-eighties. Simply beautiful. All tits on T.I.T.S. are natural by the grace of God. But instead of just posting a random selection, we’ve chosen pictures shot in nice outdoor surroundings. And even with a little flower here and there.
DR. OCTAGON
These are very small, very fine Ray Bans. The shape is at first glance oval, which we did a post about earlier, but these are actually octangular. So, octangular tits, that’s a hard one. But as mentioned, the Ray Bans are very small and very fine – so let’s take it from there. And there are eight angles on these lenses, so that’s eight (compared to our standards) small tits. Or four pairs, if you will. Let’s make that eight, since it takes two lenses to make a pair. Getting all mathematic today. Making my dad proud. I think I’ll send him the link.
ASYMMETRIC
I’ve never been a huge fan of the asymmetric Cazal styles. A bit too funky/funny I guess. And we at T.I.T.S. are serious men. But seldom tits are 100% symmetric, and therefore posting the Cazal 858 is a good way to have a closer look on the general asymmetrical relationship between a pair of tits.
DID YOU KNOW…
-that my Persol 6201 are 60 years old?
The tits are about the same age if you add them all together (really searching hard to find a reference/excuse to post these tits…)
FOUR
Undoubtfully, everybody who follows T.I.T.S. knows that Persol is the holy grail. When produced by Ratti that is. The Persol Ratti 009 was originally designed for NASA’s astronauts, but when Clint Eastwood fell in love with the style in the early seventies, it blew up. Like Apollo 13. There are no less than 4 lenses in the Persol 009.
You do the math.
JUNGLE BOOGIE
These are the first brown tits on Tits In The Shade. Wont be the last ones. We like every colour. Blue Avatar tits coming up soon. The sunglasses are Christian Dior made in Optyl – a superior material to the usual plastic acetate. The tits we post are always superior to plastic ones as well. There’s a beautiful similarity in the colour of the frames and the colours of the tit pic. You can almost tell that the tits and the sunglasses smell the same.
TITS IN THE SHADE
- is the name of this site. Tits get tanned in the sun. We did a post about that earlier. Tits get tan lines when kept from the sun. This is a post about that. The sunglasses are Carrera Sunjet 5251.
SPORTY TITS DON’T EXIST
Ray Ban used to do this collaboration with The Olympic Games; the Wayfarer got some smart flashy colours that matched the trends of the various years or the country hosting. The aviator models just had the Olympic circles on the lenses. And that’s gonna be our inspiration for today’s tits, the 5 circles. Because there’s no such thing as sporty tits. Right?
So here’s the Ray Bans, Olympic Edition, and 5 fairly round tits. And perhaps one of the contributors is doing some water sports, another is taking a shower after a volley ball match and there’s definitely a dogdeball reference in the last picture. You never know – these tits might be super sporty after all.
KNOWLEDGE OF SELF
SO, we post some pics of stupid big sunglasses and surpise surprise, we match them with some big tits. What’s so freakin’ genius about that?? A whole lot.
These were made famous by especially Yoko Ono, when she wore them on the cover of Rolling Stone. Dunno if she was compensating for something else – like men do with big cars and such. Or Trump Tower. Anyway, the Carrera 5620 anno 1981 designed by Porsche are unique, lightweight and simply legendary.
And oh, they’re big.
Check our previous post about the Carrera 5621, they’re big as well.
FIERCE TITS
I am thoroughly pissed off today. Fortunately, there are sunglasses that resemble that emotion – simply by emphasizing the eyebrows meeting in a downwards direction, creating that fierce look. Versace has been especially good at designing these styles.
Finding fierce looking tits is a different story (as opposed to sad tits, which come a dime a dozen. But I doubt T.I.T.S. will ever post the sad ones). I sense a lot of aggressiveness in the tit pic below though. A lot of softness too. Tits just aren’t that associable with negativity.
OVAL
T.I.T.S. is travelling, hence the lack of regular posts. Please bear with us, we will be steady as a rock soon enough.
Anyway, travelling has it advantages; like finding vintage sunglasses in thrift stores that don’t know what YSL means. I found these, waiting for a ferry just the other day. It’s Yves Saint Laurent 6058, the shape is oval and so are the tits.
OVERSIZED
These Terri Brogan shades are typical for the oversized vintage fashion going on the past 5-6 years. But the shape is quite an unusual one. The upper part of the frame has references to octangular shaped glasses, where the lower is a classic round one. Might seem a minor detail, but it does a huge difference.
Oversized – here we go:
ICE COLD LOOK
In the eighties, Ray Ban advanced the cat-eye look (which we’ve shared our fascination with a couple of times before here and here).
With the Dekko style, the cat-eyes had a sharper futuristic shape, and the ice cold look matched the strong women of the eighties in their broad shouldered blazers. The tits below are cold as well. And there’s definitely a power feel in the lower tit-pic.
PROUD SUNGLASSES AND TITS
As a suburbian wigga in the early nineties, I thought Malcolm X was the coolest brother ever. And I’ve always associated his half-frame glasses with pride and intellect. Most people associate the style with the Ray Ban Clubmaster, but this Persol Ratti Cellor has a heavier and more robust look. The tits below are indeed proud as well.
